With one click, your Inspiration diagram transforms into a traditional written outline. Here you can modify and rearrange concepts and words to produce clearly communicated reports, letters, memos and written presentations. In Outline View you can:

- Plan projects and track ideas using the Checklist feature
- Develop topics into a written report using notes text
- Add topics at different levels with single commands
- Hide and show levels of detail
Rearrange or format thoughts quickly
Once you've got your ideas recorded, simply drag symbols and links to change relationships and order. With the Arrange tool you choose from 11 formats and let Inspiration perfectly line up and display your information. In Outline View, simply drag and drop any topic to a new position—subtopics move along automatically.

Transfer to a word processor with one click
Inspiration's one-click transfer instantly moves your work into a word processing program. After working in Inspiration to brainstorm, organize and outline, you can use Microsoft® Word® or AppleWorks® to further expand your written projects.
Connect directly to the Internet
Inspiration lets you set up live hyperlinks to instantly access resources from the Internet. Just select a symbol or outline topic, click Hyperlink on the tool bar, add web address and Inspiration automatically creates a hyperlink. Hyperlink also helps you gather and present information from multiple types of documents.
Add graphics to convey meaning and add interest
Choose from the over 1200 symbols included with Inspiration or insert a graphic from any source using drag and drop or copy and paste functions. You can drag and drop JPEG and GIF images into Inspiration diagrams directly from the web.
Plan a web site
Build the structure of a new web site in Inspiration, then select the Site Skeleton®. Each symbol becomes a separate web page, complete with appropriate hyperlinks. Inspiration even creates a site map for you.
